Philippine, U.S. forces start exercise
MANILA — About 900 U.S. marines and 800 Philippine soldiers started Monday two weeks of interoperability exercises called "Talon Vision" at Clark Air Field northwest of Manila, an official said.
The training in jungle survival, reconnaissance, light armor operations and night vision operations will all be held on Luzon Island and will last until Nov 17, Capt Burrell Parmer of the Talon Vision public affairs office said. (Kyodo News)
