Japanese suspect deported from Manila
MANILA, Oct. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Philippine immigration authorities deported Friday a Japanese suspect who would be tried on a multiple murder case in his homeland.
Kohinata Masato, who fled to the Philippines in July using a forged passport, was rounded up Thursday in a Manila suburb condominium.
The 35-year-old suspect has been on the run following the murder of four gangsters at a bar in Japan in October 2002, immigration officials said, adding that Japanese police officers escorted Masato aboard a Japan Airlines flight to Narita Airport in Tokyo. Enditem
