Kris stands by allegations against Marquez

Popular television host and actress Kris Aquino reiterated Sunday her earlier allegations against erstwhile lover Parañaque Mayor Joey Marquez.

Aquino, daughter of former president Corazon Aquino, accused Marquez of poking a gun at her last Monday.

"I stand by what I have said. The whole issue here is the gun. Tinutukan niya ako ng baril. Baliktarin niya ang mundo, i-deny niya, the issue is the gun," Aquino said in an exclusive interview with The Buzz.

Marquez denied poking a gun at Aquino, saying that he never used a weapon against any woman.

Andami na naming naging away in the past, I didn't run to my mom. The gun is the issue," Aquino said.

Aquino also stood by her earlier claim that she had contracted a sexually-transmitted disease from Marquez.

"From my first statement, sinabi ko, mula nang magsimula ang relasyon namin, siya lang ang lalaki sa buhay ko. Hindi ako nakipagtalik sa ibang lalaki," Aquino said. "If it didn't come from him, why did he seek treatment last March?" she added.

Aquino claimed that Marquez promised to marry her but boasted that he does not need to seek permission from Aquino's mother.

"I don't need your mom. I'm richer than your mom," Aquino quoted Marquez as saying.

Lawyer Raymund Fortun, Aquino's counsel, earlier said the actress will file charges of physical injuries, grave threats and illegal possession of firearms against Marquez on Monday at the Makati Prosecutor’s office.

Fortun said Aquino will also lodge an administrative case against Marquez for violating the code of conduct and ethical standards for public officials.
